China has re-written the books on many, many species in the last few years and the new Ilvaites coming out of Inner Mongolia are no exception. This specimen boasts a 12 cm doubly terminated crystal with a second single terminated 5 cm crystal protruding from the side. A silky, black sheen and absolute lack of any damage make this a great small cabinet specimen from the new finds of 2012. Displays from virtually any angle.
