Zoned yellow and purple fluorite exhibiting 'etched' surfaces caused by growth interference with barite. Note: barite was naturally dissolved in the pocket leaving classic episodic patterns. I have included a small specimen (2 x 2 x 3.5 cm) from the same pocket that is uncleaned showing original hydrocarbon-coated surfaces. Advance mining 1991.
