The Wolsendorf District was one of the major producing fluorspar regions of Germany and a significant competitor with U.S. mines for decades. A wonderful array of colors came out of Wolsendorf. This specimen shows a nice light olive-green with excellent luster and crystals to 2.5 cm. Note oriented hematite imparts reddish tinge. In excellent condition. Betty Kalaskie Collection #42-120.
