Glassy fluorite zoned in blue light gray and purple with associated drusy quartz. Specimens from this era are rare on the market especially those in fine condition such as this piece. Note the light smoky tinge to the quartz as evidence of hydrocarbon inclusions. Mined ca. 1940s-1950s. Provenance: Jim DuFoe collection; sold to Charles Noll ca. early 1970s.
