Group of blue fluorite zoned with yellow cores on matrix of limestone. Beautiful rich color characteristic of the lower levels in the mine. Note: I ascribed the 'St. Louis' Level based on conversation with the miner I bought the piece from. The miner indicated it was from the lowest horizon in the mine, hence the attribution, but it may still be from the Sub-Rosiclare. Tiny cleave on one crystal and a little contact on backside. Mined 1989. Betty Kalaskie Collection #42-130: purchased for $32. from North Star Minerals 1989.
