Branching lustrous brown sphalerite in combination with light purple fluorite on Ste. Genevieve Limestone Matrix. Great condition and a very aesthetic specimen from advance mining ca. 1984. This is unique in my experience from the Denton Mine. The only other location where I have seen 'stalactitic' or 'stalagmatic' sphalerite is the Hill-Ledford Mine and of those I have only actually seen one: that piece residing in the Carnegie Museum- Section of Minerals.
