Showy calcite rhombohedron 3.2 cm on edge perched on banded white and purple quartz.  The calcite is multi-zoned in shades of white and light gray and covered with a sparkly late stage druse.  Simply a beautiful specimen from this classic Mexican locality.  Ex. C. S. Bement Collection acquired for $3 in 1894.  Ex. American Museum of Natural History No. 6714.  Rare on the market and a superlative piece.
