Very nice combination of calcite crystals on matrix with chalcopyrite and hematite druse. The only underground iron mine in Missouri and one of the best specimen producers in the Midwest. Very excellent condition. Mined c. 1970s-1980s. Eric Petersen Collection. Note: there is an old number in white paint with black ink #673- this is not a Petersen number but from an earlier collection.
