Mound of quartz forms the matrix for lustrous, black sphalerite. The sphalerite exhibits both very complex crystal morphology and simple, flat faced twins. Upon examination of he base it is evident there were multiple phases of sphalerite and quartz deposition. Choice miniature and in great condition. Dr. H. Perry & Anne Bynum Collection.
