Fine group of pink acicular strontianite on a thin shell of barite matrix. This piece was collected from the most sensational pocket of pink strontianite I know of from the mine. The pocket was just below the back and produced a number of fantastic specimens. This piece shows the characteristic spear-point crystals diverging in sprays. Average length of strontianite 2.5-3 cm.
