Smoky gray calcite crystals up to 6.8 tip to tip on zoned yellow and purple fluorite with chalcopyrite. This type of calcite is primary or first-phase. Secondary calcite is typically a light or rich honey color and typically much more highly modified. Dramatic display specimen. Mined ca. early 1980s ca. 1981-1982. Calcite is free of damage. Fluorite has edge chip on small crystal towards front- it appears to be re-healed since the surface luster is subdued. Tolonen Collection.
