Hemisphere-like aggregate of stalactitic barite with a sponge barite matrix exhibiting dissolution. A trace of purple fluorite on one edge serves to substantiate the locality. This is an exceedingly rare specimen from the district. Documented pieces from the Spar Mountain Area are really uncommon. In excellent condition.
