The Denton Mine is one of the preeminent locations for fine galena crystals and arguably has produced the best of species for the district. This specimen exhibits the bright silvery metallic sheen of the finest galena and sharp cubic form with octahedral modifications. The matrix is zoned blue and yellow fluorite in combination with lustrous black sphalerite. A very excellent specimen from advance mining c. late 1980s. Roy Smith Collection M1794. In great condition.
