The Denton Mine started producing ore in early 1980. The minerals were new and distinct such as this piece from a rich section of ore near the shaft. It displays the characteristic lustrous, modified calcite crystals preferentially overgrown on yellow and purple fluorite with chalcopyrite inclusions. Fluorite to 5.0 cm on edge.
