A group of light purple fluorite crystals to 2.5 cm on edge, with a light preferential druse of brilliant quartz and associated "black jack" sphalerite and galena. Properly attributed specimens from Rosiclare are rare and in this case even more so as we know the miner who collected the piece, Keith Poindexter. Mr. Poindexter worked in one of the Alcoa mines and collected the piece c. 1958-1960. In top condition and important miniature from Southern Illinois.
