Lustrous, deep purple fluorite, crystals to 10 cm, with a sparkly druse of calcite and scattered micro chalcopyrite. There are two pronounced calcite casts: former crystals may have been barite but morphology is difficult to discern. Mined during pillar robbing from workings very near the shaft, center drift in the heart of the major collapse structure : note this area first mined in 1980. Minor cleaves on one crystal. Very beautiful and attractive specimen. Betty Kalaskie Collection #42-232. Entered into Ross C. Lillie database as RCL2630.
