A terrific combination of calcite and fluorite with rich association of alstonite. Alstonite is an uncommon species from the district and in particular, displayable alstonite specimens are exceptionally rare. In this instance the pseudo-hexagonal symmetry of the alstonite crystals is obvious and unmistakeable. A great miniature from this famous mine. A couple of subordinate calcite crystals are tipped but don't detract.
