Exceptionally high quality zircon, 7 x 8 x 12 mm, set in black foliated biotite schist. Fine reddish/brown highlights in display lighting. Collected 2015 from field outcrops of a complex pegmatite in northern Norway. (Note: my water gunning popped the crystal out during cleaning: now restored back into matrix with cyanoacrylate).
