Minty green, lustrous balls of wavellite on matrix. Garland County is a famous location in the U.S. for the species and these are still fairly available on the open market, however, this is the nicest one I have acquired. The largest ball is 2.2 cm across. All the aggregates have a chatoyant-like sheen created by ratiated terminations cenetered in the sphere. Collected c. 1950s. Comes with an old hand-written ink label #30 426 30 and the piece is numbered on reverse as 0030. Pristine condition.
