Classic combination of grapey-purple translucent fluorite and lustrous black sphalerite richly grouped over drusy quartz. The drusy quartz matrix is nearly all sphalerite-coated on one side and dominantly fluorite-coated on the other: a phenomenon seen repeatedly in the stratiform deposits. Displays equally well from either side and in very excellent condition with minor nicks typical of the era. Dr. H. Perry & Anne Bynum Collection. Mined c. early 1960s.
