Bright shiny group of purple amethyst crystals to 0.5 cm on quartz matrix.  Exceedingly rare locality from the Copper Country.  I preserved as much as possible the old hand written brown label on back.  As judged from the old label, specimen likely collected late 19th century.  In excellent condition excepting one small nick near edge. OUT ON APPROVAL.
