  • $ 35000

Glassy, transparent purple and light yellow fluorite with hundreds of mobile fluid inclusions. The main xl as approximately 3 cm on edge and has an attached calcite. The bottom side of the piece shows beveled edges that come to a point in the center (from growth along the dodecahedron). Note that the matrix side of the specimen was once encased in barite that has previously dissolved. These are rare fluorites from the district and to my knowledge only a handful were collected. Mined ca. 1992 from advance mining. In excellent condition. Tolonen Collection.
