  • $ 4500

SOLD The Henson Mine was operated by Ozark-Mahoning Company in the 1980s on the Shelby Fault System in Pope Cunty. As is typical of all vein-type deposits, specimens were rarely found in open pockets since the vein was typically mineralized from wall to wall. However, sometimes pockets were found and a few minerals collected (usually by geologists or a miner with an unusual interest for minerals). Note the two distinct phases of barite mineralization and matrix of cubic galena and colorless fluorite: all characteristic of this orebody. Rare and in great condition. Mined 1984. Ross C. Lillie Collection RCL0377.
