Beautiful transparent high luster calcite to 2 cm on iron ore matrix. Great coverage and aesthetics.  A choice example from this classic English location.  In top condition. Specimens from this locality were relatively abundant when Mr. Lafayette purchased this fine piece , i.e. he would have had many to choose from and he chose wisely.  Such specimens have largely disappeared from the marketplace.
