Combination of shiny metallic galena, lustrous black sphalerite, bright white quartz and tiny scalenohedral calcite. This is an absolute classic from the Deardorff Mine of the Cave-in-Rock District in terms of association with quartz and well developed galena, moreover, the quartz matrix exhibits sharp epimorphs  after a cubic mineral, in this case apparently galena which is quite a rare pseudomorph. Excellent condition. Mined ca. 1940s-1950s. Provenance: Jim DuFoe collection #IIA-211; to Charles Noll ca. 1970s-1980s. Charles Noll collection #1876.
