An exceptionally fine small cabinet bournonite on matrix from the great new find of late 2012. An isolated group of crystals, 3 x 3.5 cm across with individual crystals to 2 cm, are perched right at the top of a drusy quartz-covered slab of matrix. The bournonite shows classic cyclic twinning into 'cogswheels' with highly modified secondary faces. In addition there are a few unknown oxide or sulfide crystals that may turn out to be a significant association upon analysis. In great condition.
