A large crystal of semi-transparent petalite showing dissolution features and regrowth.  Specimen is crystallized on all sides with no apparent point of attachment.  A fine specimen of this fairly rare lithium aluminum silicate. Figured in London article in Rocks & Minerals. In top condition.
