Dal'negorsk is an incredibly diverse skarn-derived district that seems to always produce something new. This specimen is no exception: 2 phases of quartz- an early phase of prismatic quartz with abundant inclusions of micro hedenbergite or perhaps chlorite imparting a greenish tinge and followed by a bright clear rose-like quartz reminiscent of Brazilian amethyst 'flowers'. I only saw a few of these and this was by far the best I acquired. Undamaged and displays from multiple angles. Associated pyrrhotite a nice bonus. Mined 2013.
